Study of Illumination
Study of Illumination is two things; first, it is quite literally a study of light and illuminated objects; but, two, as I worked it became quite a symbolic and meaningful piece to me. I was very interested in capturing the light source within the painting rather than being outside the frame. The way the objects are illuminated and the characteristics of each one hold special significance to me. And, even now new things are being revealed.
